Assiniboine Community College does not make decisions such as these lightly, and we recognize that the current environment presents feelings of uncertainty to our college community. These actions outlined below are taking place immediately and in the best interests of students, staff, and the public. As this is a situation evolving quickly, additional changes may occur in the coming days and weeks.

– Classes are continuing as scheduled at this time. Assiniboine is committed to helping students finish their academic term. Academic staff continue to actively work on contingency plans that may result in changes to class, work placement, and exam schedules and format on a program-by-program basis.

– College campuses continue to remain open at this time. As part of social distancing efforts, we ask that members of the public exercise personal judgement on whether they wish to travel to campus to conduct business, or if they are able to achieve the same results by phone or email to college staff.

– Additional cleaning efforts are underway across campuses and the college is increasing staffing capacity to this end.

More information on college events, social distancing, travel and FAQs on COVID – 19 are available at the Assiniboine Community College website.
