Trans Day of Remembrance Ceremonies (Brandon)

Monday, November 20th, at Knox United Church, 451 18th Street, Brandon MB.

Parking is available on 17th Street (a one-way street) behind the church.

The Memorial Noon Service, followed by a light lunch is from 12:00PM to 1:00PM. This service includes ceremony, introductions, a guest speaker, prayer and words of remembrance, with the reading of names of those lost in 2023 followed by a moment of silence. This afternoon event is available in person and will stream online on Knox United Church’s YouTube Channel. A light lunch is provided by Knox United Church after the service.

The Candlelight Vigil in the evening on the same day starts at 5:30PM outside on the lawn of Knox United Church. After the vigil, everyone is invited inside for cookies and refreshments. – SERC Brandon, Knox United Church, PFLAG Brandon & Brandon Pride
