Each academic year the Students’ Association Council accepts applications for two (2) Committee Chair positions, along with committee members for various committees. See the committee involvement opportunities here:

Parkland Student Representative - Paid

This representative position is paid through an honorarium.

The ACCSA appoints up to three (3) Student Representatives to the Parkland
Committee to represent the students of Parkland, organize events and activities for the Parkland Campus, and enhance the student experience for all students at the college.

The Parkland Committee is the defacto Student Council for the Parkland Campus. Students on this Committee will be seen as leaders among their peers, and will develop leadership, meeting management, and time management skills. They will work with staff at the College to facilitate programming and provide students of Parkland with a stronger student voice.

Winnipeg Student Representative - Paid

This representative position is paid through an honorarium.

The ACCSA appoints up to three (3) Student Representatives to the Winnipeg
Committee to represent the ACC students of Winnipeg, organize events and activities for the Winnipeg Campus, and enhance the student experience for all students at the college.

Being a part of a committee is a great opportunity for students to gain leadership experience in an environment geared towards their success. Selected leaders have access to professional development throughout the year and will have a chance to make a difference here at Assiniboine.
